Hanlon Shoe 5Km Fun Run and Shoe Testing

Hanlon Shoe will be sponsoring a "shoe testing" and 5Km "Fun Run" with Bill Rodgers and Frank Shorter as Special Guests on Friday night - February 25, 2011, from 5:30 - 7:00 P.M. The "Fun Run" 5Km begins at 7:00 p.m. in front of Hanlon's Shoe.

Following the "Fun Run" there will be a casual "cash" dinner & drinks at Palio's Pizzeria down the street in downtown Hyannis, Massachusetts beginning at 8:00 P.M. with Bill Rodgers & Frank Shorter as our Special Guests. All are welcome to join in on this rare opportunity to sit with these special runners on a very personal level over drinks and dinner. There will be a cash pizza dinner and cash bar for all that join us.

Race Exposition, Packet Pickup & Late Registration

A Race Exposition will be held during race weekend at the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis in the Ballroom on the 1st floor (farthest right of hotel) this year.

Hours will be from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and between 7:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

You will be able to pick-up your chip, bib# and T-shirt at these times as well as register for the race of your choosing if space is available.

Bill Rodgers and Frank Shorter will all autographing "complimentary" Race Posters at the Expo on Saturday..

Event Pre-Race Pasta Dinner

There will be a pre-race pasta dinner from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis Ballroom. The dinner will include: pasta w/ plain sauce & a meat sauce, salad & bread. The fee for this is $16.00 per person. There will be a cash bar for all refreshments.

Bill Rodgers and Frank Shorter will be our Special Guests. They will be available for autographs and pictures at the Expo and pasta dinner.

*Folks have been turned away at the door the past two years. We can only accept so many of pasta night due to food order constraints. Please order tickets ahead of time if you really want to attend.

Post Race Food, Refreshments & Awards Ceremony

The Post Race food and refreshments will be served starting at 11:00 a.m. and it will continue to be served until the end of the marathon inside the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis ballroom.

There will be fruit, cookies, bagels, refreshments including O Water, juice, hot chocolate & coffee, Dunkin Donuts and 99 Restaurant clam chowder & soup.

There will also be an awards ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m.in the Resort & Conference Center at Hyannis ballroom - you must be present to receive your award as we do not mail out.

Post Race Parties

The Post Race Party will be on the 2nd floor of the Resort and Conference Center of Hyannis - you will find the stairs to this location at the front entrance to the hotel. The Chris Fitz Band will be playing live and there will be complimentary food and a cash bar.
